For a getaway from the heat of summer, relax in the designer pool at the American Colony Hotel, with its elegant Jerusalem stone and the glint of Italian Mosaic tiles. For a more energetic feeling, try our Technogym fitness room with all the facilities required to stay in shape, and round it off with a sauna or a relaxing massage in addition to the comperhensive beauty sallon.
The Pool
Our pool is constructed from Jerusalem stone, lined with Italian glass tiles and landscaped with cascading water features. Our relaxing, seasonal heated outdoor pool and sundeck area is open from June 1st until October 31st and sometimes dates can be extended weather permitting. A pool lift is available for the disabled. The pool is surrounded by a beautiful border of flowers and trees and is a perfect place to cool off in the center of Jerusalem.
Swimming is permitted only when a lifeguard is present, usually from 10:00 a.m. until 19:00, depending on weather conditions.
Massage Villa
Pamper yourself at the American Colony Massage Villa.
The massage rooms were planned and designed to give you relaxation and health, as a place to escape from the pressures of the day, as a personal Garden of Eden in order to relax and charge your batteries.

Amal’s Beauty Lounge
Amal Al-Saieed is a skincare and cosmetics expert and consultant, with extensive experience in skincare treatments. She specializes in medical skincare treatments. Amal has been working as a paramedical esthetician and skincare product consultant for over 12 years and has extensive experience and knowledge of skincare treatment.
Amal works with the highest quality products including L’Occitane, Kiehl’s and Dermalogica.

Fitness Centre
Overlooking the pool with panoramic windows, in its garden setting, Our well-equipped fitness centre contains Technogym technology and equipment – including treadmills, bicycles, elliptical cross trainers, abdominal crunch equipment, Lat machines, Chest presses, cable training stations, and free weights. The top-notch equipment includes personal, built-in TV screens. The opening hours are from 07:00 - 21:00 and can always be open upon request during closed hours.
