The American Colony Print Shop is a unique source for high quality framed and unframed photographic reproductions produced from the original American Colony Photo-Dept. photographs, some of which were artistically hand-tinted. The photographic reproductions span the years 1896 and 1940 and beautifully document historical and biblical sites in the Holy Land
Creating the prints involved a careful process of scanning, color adjustment, content description, and supervision of the printing process, all done by the American Colony Archive and the Jerusalem Fine Art Prints teams. These prints can be purchased at the American Colony Print Shop opposite the main entrance..
The American Colony Archive collections, spanning the years 1850–2008, comprise photographic albums and glass negatives, manuscripts, arts and crafts, archaeology, a historical library, and sheet-music. The Collection Reading Rooms are open to researchers and the public by appointment. For inquiries please contact amcolcollection@gmail.com
